Who is this River Paddle Trip for?
This whitewater activity is ideal for those who want to learn SUP in the river, have fun and discover this new whitewater activity.
This session is accessible to families with teenagers over 12 years old and groups of friends looking for new activities on the water in the river.
To do this River Paddle, you must know how to swim at least 25 meters.
Prerequisites
This activity requires a certain physical condition and we recommend that participants check whether they are able to do it before registering.
Participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh no more than 110 kg.
It is also essential to know how to swim at least 25 meters and to feel comfortable submerging in water.
Finally, it is important not to have any medical contraindication to the practice of white water sports.
Where is this River Paddle trip ?
Riverboarding courses is located in the Upper Aude Valley, in the Aude department in the Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée region (formerly Languedoc Roussillon) in France.
Our reception base is located in the town of Belvianes and Cavirac, where participants are welcomed. The place is easily accessible by car, just 5 minutes from Quillan.
The towns of Perpignan, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Foix are all around an hour’s drive from our base, as it is located at the crossroads of the valleys.
In less than an hour and a half, it is possible to reach our base from the Mediterranean coast and the towns of Argeles-sur-Mer, Le Barcarès, Canet-Page, Leucate or Ste Marie la Mer.
The cities of Montpellier and Toulouse are approximately 2 hours away.

The Paddle is a light and very maneuverable board, it is easy to get on and off. You will be able to test your balance and the different positions (kneeling, standing, etc.) that this boat allows.
It is a new point of view on the river which allows you to appreciate its beauty but also a fun and sporting experience. There are even slides for a little slide!
By choosing to practice river paddle on the Aude, you will have the chance to admire the magnificent landscapes offered by the river, while enjoying a sporty and fun activity. This river is ideal for beginners and the more experienced, with calm parts to relax and rapids for a dose of adrenaline. Whatever your level, river paddling on the Aude promises a memorable experience.
Progress of the session:
The total duration of the activity is 3 hours, including reception and equipment which takes around half an hour.
Then, a 10-minute minibus shuttle will take you to the starting point where our instructor will give you all the necessary advice before starting the descent.
During the descent, which lasts about an hour and a half, you will be able to appreciate the superb landscapes while spending friendly moments.
After the descent, a 15-minute return shuttle will take you back to the base where you can un-equip yourself and end the session in a friendly manner.
