Who is this canyoning course for:

This canyon requires a certain physical condition and we recommend that participants check whether they are able to traverse it before registering.
Due to the nature of this activity, it may be difficult for overweight people.

Prerequisites:

Be at least 14 years old for outings organized between July and September and at least 16 years old for those organized in May, June and October
Be taller than 150 cm and weigh more than 50 kg, but not more than 110 kg
It is important not to have any fear of height, to know how to swim at least 25 meters, to be able to submerge yourself and to be able to jump from a height of 4 meters.

Where is the Llech canyon located?

The Canyon du Llech is located to the east of the French Pyrenees at the foot of Canigou in the Pyrénées-Orientales, near the town of Prades between Perpignan and Font-Romeu.
The canyon is located about twenty minutes from Prades and about 40 minutes from Perpignan and Font-Romeu by car. Towns like Canet-en-Roussillon, Sainte-Marie-la-Mer, La Barcarès, Font-Romeu, Argelès-sur-Mer and Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet are about an hour away. As for Collioure, Banyuls-sur-Mer and Spain, it takes an hour’s drive, while for Narbonne, Quillan and Carcassonne, the journey takes around 1h20. Finally, coming from Toulouse or Montpellier, you should plan on driving around 2 hours 15 minutes.
