Want to discover and play with the currents and movements of white water? Our hydrospeed activity is ideal for this! In just 1h30, you will be able to acquire the basic techniques of whitewater navigation while enjoying a thrilling experience on the Aude River.
Who is this Riverboarding Trip for?
This whitewater activity is ideal for those looking to learn the movements of whitewater and get started with whitewater swimming. This route is accessible to families with children over 10 years old and to groups of friends looking for new experiences.
Prerequisites
This activity requires a certain physical condition and we recommend that participants check whether they are able to do it before registering.
Participants must be at least 10 years old and weigh no more than 100 kg.
It is also essential to know how to swim at least 25 meters and to feel comfortable submerging in water.
Finally, it is important not to have any medical contraindication to the practice of white water sports.
Where is this Riverboarding trip ?
Riverboarding courses is located in the Upper Aude Valley, in the Aude department in the Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée region (formerly Languedoc Roussillon) in France.
Our reception base is located in the town of Belvianes and Cavirac, where participants are welcomed. The place is easily accessible by car, just 5 minutes from Quillan. The towns of Perpignan, Narbonne, Carcassonne and Foix are all around an hour’s drive from our base, as it is located at the crossroads of the valleys.
In less than an hour and a half, it is possible to reach our base from the Mediterranean coast and the towns of Barcarès, Canet, Leucate or Ste Marie la Mer.
The cities of Montpellier and Toulouse are approximately 2 hours away.

During this 1.5 hour outing, you will learn the basic techniques of whitewater navigation. The Haute-Vallée de l’Aude is a magnificent location for outdoor sports, and whitewater swimming is a popular activity in the region.
After adjusted equipment and explanations on navigation and the boat, you will be able to go down the river between Quillan and Campagne sur Aude for 1h30. Equipped with a foam float and fins, you can slide across the water while playing with the waves and water movements. Lying close to the water, emotion is guaranteed!
